Baked Spaghetti

Yum

Baked spaghetti is topped with cheesy goodness. It’s quick meal that the whole family will love.

Baked spaghetti is a Back to School favorite. We’re already a month in and it feels like a lot longer… eek! My step-son is 12 and hates school so it has been a trying start to 7th grade.

I’m usually really good about meal planning but lately I’ve been slacking. We’ve been eating out more than usual. I’m turning more and more to quick, easy recipes.

Spaghetti is one of our favorites, especially with homemade sauce. If you have an hour to make dinner, this spaghetti with bolognese sauce is delicious. If not, I make a quick sauce with tomato sauce, tomato paste, crushed tomatoes, garlic, oregano, parsley, and basil. In a pinch, jarred sauce will work, too.

The “baked” part of this recipe is the cheese that is added and baked on top. I sometimes like to add a layer of cheese in the middle, too.

I prefer to use mozzarella but you could use a yellow and white blend like cheddar jack.

Don’t forget the Rhodes Artisan French Rolls. I love that you can pop them straight in the oven from the freezer and they are baked in 8-10 minutes.

How is back to school going for everyone else?
