Peanut Butter Marshmallow Brownies

Yum

Peanut butter marshmallow brownies are a rich, decadent dessert that is sure to be a hit with everyone!

These are sure to be addicting! They are very rich, delicious and so easy to make. We have made them for family gatherings, cookouts, potlucks, and just as a treat to have around the house.

My family has always called these Ryn’s brownies because we always had these when she came to visit. My Aunt Ryn is one of my dad’s sisters, and we loved when she came to visit because she had 9 kids (there were 10 of us) and so there was always someone to play with. She is a great cook and loved baking all the sweets as well – so that was always a hit with us kids!

Instructions

To make these, you will only need 7 ingredients. Brownie mix – the eggs and oil for the mix, marshmallow creme, semi-sweet chocolate chips, peanut butter, and rice crispies.

The main 5 ingredients to make peanut butter marshmallow brownies- crispy rice, peanut butter, fudge brownie mix, chocolate chips, and marshmalllow creme

Start off by making the brownies according to the box. Let them cool.

Once completely cooled, spread the marshmallow creme. Set aside.

Take a microwave-safe mixing bowl and dump the chocolate chips and peanut butter in and put in the microwave for around a minute and stir. If it’s not completely melted, put it in and stir again. Once melted and mixed, pour the rice crispies in and mix until they are all well coated.

Dump on top of the brownies and spread it around until even. Put in the fridge to harden (around an hour at least) and enjoy! I hope you love these as much as my family does!

What is your go-to dessert to bring to gatherings?

Tips

* You can use milk chocolate chips as well, but my preference is always semi-sweet because then it is not AS sweet.

*I would not advise skipping the cooling part – I have before because I am an impatient person and it makes a mess. The brownies will break apart a bit and the marshmallow creme is really hard to get an even layer of spreading.

*You do not have to put it in the fridge once done, you can leave it out on the counter but it will take a bit longer to set.
