Family Dinner: Medieval Theme

Medieval table themed dinner

Welcome fellow time travelers to a medieval dinner for your family!

Prepare to journey back in time and feast like royalty at a medieval dinner. But beware, for in this medieval realm, the cutlery is scarce. That’s right! Eat with your hands!!!

No need to empty your wallet for this medieval feast! Just focus on the food and get creative with the decorations using things you already own. You can have a budget-friendly blast from the past!

And if you don’t want to cook, I picked up dinner from our local Boston Market. Whole chicken, roasted potatoes, corn, and mixed veggies. Tip: You might skip the corn or fix corn on the cob. Tough to eat with your hands.

For the remainder of the meal, we had tomato basil soup and charcuterie platters.

Don’t forget the chalice (large cup or goblet)! You absolutely must have a cup that screams royalty, fit for a king.

(The platters, small soup bowls, chalice, and table runner were all from Amazon. The plates and bowls were from Target.)

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I must go find my trusty steed. Farewell and bon appétit, dear lords and ladies!
