Apple slices drizzled in caramel, white chocolate, and sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar.
I love Fall. Cool weather, boots, cider, and all kinds of apple recipes.
It’s not technically Fall yet but I couldn’t wait to experiment with my idea.
A few years ago, we had an outlet mall with a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. They had the most delicious looking caramel apples. I chose to buy the Apple Pie caramel apple.
It was so good. A Granny Smith covered in caramel and then white chocolate. Then it was sprinkled all over with cinnamon and sugar. I bought them for years every time I went to that outlet mall. Then they closed. Whomp! Whomp!

When these things happen, my determination to recreate the recipe sets in.
As I was planning my sister’s baby shower, I decided on the theme “Apple of my Eye”. I thought each person going home with a personal Apple Pie caramel apple seemed like a great idea.
Obviously I don’t think things out and take on way more than I can do. They got done but were kind of a mess. So I thought, what if I cut the apples and just drizzle them with the toppings?!?

It is soooo much easier to make these versus the whole apples. Plus I love that I can make just one for myself and don’t have to make a big batch.

Making these on a paper plate makes clean up so much easier. The sticky caramel and chocolate takes a bit to get off if not.
