This quick, easy coleslaw recipe is made with bagged slaw mix. It’s creamy, sweet, and a little tangy.

If you are looking for an easy side dish to take to a party, this is it!!

The hardest thing you have to do is measure out some ingredients for the sauce, mix it all together, and throw it in the fridge. The best part… it tastes better after marinating so it’s the perfect side dish to make ahead of time.

Coleslaw ingredients in bowl

If you like smaller pieces in your cole slaw or don’t want everything that comes in a bag mix, it doesn’t take too much more time to make it all from scratch. I would replace the bag mix with 3 cups of shredded cabbage, 1 cup of purple cabbage, and 1 whole carrot. If you want to do all purple or all green cabbage, go with 4 cups of whichever you choose. The dressing recipe stays the same.

What do you serve with Coleslaw?

Coleslaw is the perfect side dish to go with burgers, hot dogs, ribs, pulled pork, etc. It’s great for BBQs.

It’s also great on sandwiches like pulled pork and reubens.
